And new armour sets for the newer professions in the droknars areas of the southern shiver peaks would be an awesome addition

I did read somewhere (wiki?) that the build is going out as keys/nerfs/etc in the normal build (my guess next week?), then the b-day stuff, then the larger, storage update at the end of the month.
Would make total sense, tho I will be LOL-ing at the OMG WHERE STORAGE?! knobs after the first monthly build if this happens *g*

1. That's probably not true
2. If it were true, it's not funny A-net....AT ALL
3. If it's true...they failed in getting more people to come back and more people would probably quit if they tried to pull a stunt like that.
Although Linsey has clearly stated that this update is gonna be big and I can't see what benefit it would be for her to lie to us like that. And I'm singling out Linsey because of her saying on her journal that the update "is gonna be big."
You called it Linsey, now let's see the results.

Please don't put them there. Put them in a hard to reach area like the last area in Nightfall before the battle with Abaddon. Too many people get free or easy runs to Droks forge. Putting high end armor in Droks was the worst idea ever as people just bypassed buying the upgrade armors at Zaks Bend and later on in the forest areas of Prophecies.

Why would you place them all the way in Nightfall? You can already get max armor at the Sunspear Sanctuary, so your "people running to Droknar's Forge for max armor" argument doesn't make any sense.

Don't let the fact that it is impossible to reach prophecies without going though outpost with max armor get in way of your rant ...

Hell... its even easier to goto Kaineng Centre
a run from Ascalon city to Kaineng is quicker and easier than Ascalon to Droks

That would just be cruel... That's not something we would do. If something like that were seriously were proposed, I would oppose it.
EDIT: Since my comment seems to be unclear, let me clarify:
The above player is suggesting that the April content update may be a hoax or April Fool's joke that we are playing on you. I replied with a comment that we would not play that kind of joke on you all, and that if this was seriously suggested, I would not recommend that course of action.

With all due respect, m'dear, I doubt the update is going to get me playing again even if there are significant changes. It would take a Sorrow's Furnance style change to get me back.

While I don't believe such crazy conspiracies for a second, hearing this statement on the eve of the 31st isn't helping things.

Quite sure a decent number of people have come back just to see whats going on for April, so drawing more interest back in the game probably already has happened to some extent.

I'm guessing that...
elites like Panic or Shatterstorm will see some changes cause no one can spare the skill bar slot for either of these in PvE or PvP. Panic might become 1 pip of E being transfered to hexer for each foe affected instead of 2 pips lost by each foe affected & will only cost as much as Wither (similar to ether lord), Shatterstorm may also prevent enchants on affected foe for 1 sec for each enchant removed (similar to Well of the Profane) forcing stances, weapon spells, & direct heals to mitigate PvP spikes
elites like Weapon of Quickening &/or Rit Lord will also reduce activation time for binding rituals to make them more viable in PvP & PvE... 5 sec cast while being attacked = LOL
Elites Like Ravenous Gaze will only cost 5E so that it's comparable to Vampiric Spirit
Binding rituals will be affected by fast casting so that mesmers can make as much use of em as rangers with Exp E cost reductions
but who knows... might just be HoM & storage stuff.... meh

just had an after thought about storage space updates....
a new NPC called a "stacker" & new items called "stack of XXX". trade 250 of a collectable/material to the NPC trader & he gives U a "stack of XXX" that is itself stackable. small fee for the service. ONLY applies to mats, party items, sugar, booze, zkeys (stuff that people typcially hoard for marketing purposes) to minimize the number of additional items (stack of XXX) being created.

What I'd like to see is making gold easier to get. The highest drops from enemies are no more than 300 or so apiece, and that gets divided up amongst the party members. Yet all the high end stuff costs anywhere from 5-15k per piece or per item. And that's not counting the rare crafting materials that often go into those items. One has to farm for ages to be able to afford anything like that. Yet it shouldn't be that way. Item drops are no guarantee because there's no telling what you'll get.
And dye drops should be more frequent. Along with key drops. Not much point in buying a key when the item you get sells for near as much as it cost to get the key in the first place. There's often no net gain. Story discontinuities should be fixed as well, but I doubt that'll happen, even though all it would take is revising the dialogue in places. And the difficulty in normal mode should be scaled back some. It's not hard mode, after all, so it shouldn't be laid out as such. And either remove the survivor title entirely or tweak it so it's not so frustrating to get.
